Arab Attack in Jerusalem
An Arab terrorist armed with pathological hatred of Jews and his BMW automobile plowed his car into dozens of soldiers and other pedestrians near Kikar HaHayal - a busy downtown Jerusalem square, reminiscent of two vehicular tractor terrorist incidents launched in recent months. 16 people were reported injured in Monday night’s attack, one very seriously wounded. The terrorist was shot dead by some of the soldiers who were among the apparent targets of the attack. Most of the wounded were verified to be soldiers, who were celebrating an evening off in town. Defense Minister Ehud Barak, leader of the Labor Party called for judicial reform to enable swifter legal destruction of homes belonging to terrorists so as to deter future potential attackers.
Voice of Judea Commentary:
Barak has the audacity and stupidity to open his mouth tonight, of all nights. Enough already with the insane ideas and solutions proposed by our brain-dead leaders. One speaks of banning vehicles on busy city streets, others speak of hastening court orders to destroy homes of terrorists. How many billions of dollars have been wasted building the “insecurity fence” that was supposed to keep terrorists out of major cities? For some reason the kassam rocket launchers are not impressed with the fence. And the other brainstorms concocted by our fearless leaders are not having much success. Arab tractor drivers don’t seem particularly bothered by the fence either. So much for the idea to ban tractors in Jerusalem. They just don’t get it – Arabs will use anything to kill any Jew anywhere. The tractor is not the culprit any more than the BMW used tonight. It is the driver – stupid! However, there will be more and more terror with or without the walls, and bypass roads for as long as it is considered “incitement to racism” and illegal to even suggest removing the hostile enemies from Israel. There are real solutions but it is still forbidden to inject them into the national discourse in Israel. As long as this is the case, beware of flying cars, knives, bottles, kassams, tractors and what not.
If you want to fight terror in Israel – fight for the right to Free Speech in Israel on this issue – Fight for the right to publish the Jewish alternative to save Israel. Let it be known that those who banned Kahane and who continue to ban a serious discussion about his proposals, share a role in tonight’s attack.
Two simple things you can do:
1- Help us hold public rallies in every city in Israel with the theme being: Open debate and symposium on the subject of proposals and solutions to fight “tractor terror”. At the meetings all politicians, judges and leaders who feel they have a solution will be given opportunity to share their ideas with the public. A 12 minute video of the late Rabbi Kahane debating Ehud Olmert on the Ted Koppel show, more than 20 years ago, on the subject will also be shown. A petition demanding free speech and the right to platform all proposals will be circulated.
2- Show solidarity at the court appeal of Yekutiel Ben Yaakov in district court in Jerusalem this Thursday at 9:15 AM, before Judge Musya Arad. Ben Yaakov was convicted of “incitement to racism” for holding a referendum three years ago, before the Gush Katif expulsion. In the referendum people were asked which “disengagement” they preferred – The government’s plan to expel the Jews and surrender the land, or the Jewish alternative to annex the land and expel our enemies. If you think that it is not racist to expel the Jews and that raising the alternative proposal in a referendum is racist or illegal then, by all means, don’t go to show solidarity with ben Yakov. However, if you think that the legal system is being used and abused to silence the few who have the courage to speak out and to offer the only solutions that could save Israel, then try and make it to the court house Thursday. And contribute to his cause. See donate button on bottom left side on voice of Judea website www.voiceofjudea.com
